The pandemic’s impact on the real estate market and unused square footage prompted the Board of Directors to ask whether the building in Oak Creek suits our current purposes. An appraisal led the task team to conclude that it is cost-effective to remain where we are. As word of a possible relocation trickled through the Association, individuals shared how much they love the building known as the “NACCC Office.”
Staff also appreciate the NACCC Office, a place where we come together to further the ministries of the Association. An appealing aspect of serving the NACCC is that our work extends beyond brick and mortar and three acres in Oak Creek. We look forward to calls from Congregationalists around the country! As we start a new program year with three new staff, this list lets you know who’s who. Let’s talk soon!
Missionaries at Annual Meeting & Conference

Thirteen missionaries representing nine global missions participated in the 2023 NACCC Annual Meeting and Conference in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. There was time to talk with them during the Missionary Dinner, Music and Missionaries, the AMCO breakfast, at their display tables, and after their presentations.
They also met individually with the Mission and Outreach Ministry Council to share stories of perseverance and sharing God’s love amid increasing needs and unstable political and economic conditions. Some missions not able to be present sent along videos and PowerPoint presentations. One-minute mission interviews will be posted on the NACCC website later this month.
Editor Applications Accepted through August 1
The NACCC is seeking an Editor who will oversee all aspects of The Congregationalist, a magazine sponsored by the NACCC supporting and furthering the Congregational Way.

Executive Certificate in Religious Fundraising
THIS SEPTEMBER! The Executive Certificate in Religious Fundraising is being offered to individuals from NACCC member churches through the Lake Institute on Faith & Giving, part of the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy.
The course provides the research, tools, and customized training to meet the growing needs of leaders in religious communities and fundraisers of faith-based organizations.
