Farewell and Godspeed
Ashley Cleere, Executive Director
In 1991, when attending my first NACCC annual meeting in Seattle and graduating from the Congregational Foundation for Theological Studies, I never imagined a 30-year vocational journey would carry me to the role of executive director. The past three years collaborating with staff and elected leadership while visiting member and prospective member congregations brought me immeasurable joy. I will return to the region of my childhood and a renewed relationship with the local church filled with gratitude for the NACCC, its cherished history, and its hope-filled future. Thank you for the fantastic opportunity to participate in furthering the Congregational Way and strengthening a beloved Association and for your kind gestures and encouraging words. I wish you Godspeed in Spokane and for years to come.

Rolando Laguerre is the headmaster of Love Worth Sharing in Maniche, Haiti. He recently sent this note to Rev. Jim Owens, “It is with great pride for me to work in the ministry in good times as in bad times because with God, we will do great things. Here the hurricane season arrives with heavy rain, rivers in flood. Our hope is in God almighty to weaken the hurricanes. While we do not stop praying for you, we have faith in God that He blesses you and that He breaks all the closed doors before you. These kids love the Bible Camp and Feeding Program, and they don’t want to miss a week without participation.” Rolando oversees the work in Maniche and Fondrede and his future goal it to start a prison Bible Study.

Faith Community Church dedicated their new digital sign recently at their 26th Anniversary Sunday worship service. They are really excited about the sign. It took over 2.5 years from purchase to install and it is a big transformation to our presence in Franklin.
