Youth : Youth Programs

The youth program of the NACCC is hosted in two groups. The National Association of Pilgrim Fellowship (or NAPF) is geared for high school aged young people.  To be in the NAPF program a youth must have graduated from the 9th grade and remains in NAPF through the 12th grade.  After graduating from high school, a youth may decide which conference they wish to attend. They can attend the NAPF conference or go to the HOPE conference. The Heritage of Pilgrim Endeavor (or HOPE) is for college aged individuals.

Both youth programs have one thing in common - a place, time and friends, with which to share their faith. NAPF and HOPE each have an annual conference where they get reconnected with God in a supportive, fun-filled environment. The co-directors, counselors, and participants come back year after year.

If a yearly conference were all the youth programs consisted of, it would be wonderful enough. However, it is only part of the youth program. The camaraderie and closeness are established by individuals for a lifetime. They cannot wait for only once a year to contact each other. They stay connected through a chat room made available on our web site, by communicating individually, and newsletters.

Youth Leaders Retreat- A New Format
We want to help you set up your own Youth Leaders Retreat (YLR).  This will give you the opportunity to tailor the program to your own needs. It could be a one day event or longer. It could be done in conjunction with your local association, city, or individual church.
A list of the churches in your local association  is available in the NA yearbook (http://www.nasecure.org/membership/yb.php)

The NACCC is very committed to and proud of its youth program. The more you learn, the more you will agree that it is a great place for youth to promote, encourage, and nurture Christian Fellowship. They, then, may bring all they've learned and experienced back to strengthen their local church and the National Association of Congregational Christian Churches.
