MISSION MAZAHUA NEEDS YOUR HELP!
Mission Mazahua is located approximately 60 miles northwest of Mexico City, in the central highlands of Mexico.  The central emphasis at the mission is upon a strategy known as “wholistic transformation.”  The goal of the mission is to address the needs of the whole person by seeking to touch the social, physical, mental, and emotional needs of a person’s life.  All of this is done in the love and compassion of Jesus Christ.

The Hacienda of Tepetitlan is the home of the mission.  During August of 1998, Rev. Norberto Cortes, director of the mission, signed a contract and made the down payment for Las Rosas.  The Las Rosas Center is a building located on a six-acre plot just a half-mile from the hacienda.  It currently houses a Christian school, which offers education for teenage students, a high-temperature ceramics shop, a stained glass shop, and other industries that support the mission ministries.

Presently, there is a $14,000 debt remaining on the Las Rosas mortgage.  This is putting a financial strain on the mission.  Lisa and Norberto Cortes would like to pay off the debt and move forward with the work of the mission.

All of the ministries of Mission Mazahua are important!  We ask that you pray about helping to retire the debt for the Las Rosas property.  Your financial support for the ongoing ministries at Mission Mazahua is greatly appreciated.  Please consider making an additional one-time gift or monthly donation towards the retirement of this debt.

Please make checks payable to The Missionary Society and designated to Mazahua Debt Relief.
