INSTITUTE FOR CONGREGATIONAL STUDIES BREAKFAST
Sunday, 7:30am |
|
Colleagues of the ICS, and interested friends, are welcome
to join us as we review the work of the past year, discuss
future projects and do the business of the Institute. The
Institute for Congregational Studies has been described as a
“think tank” for the NACCC. It is made up of
Congregationalists (both ordained and not) who are committed
to the study and promotion of our Congregational Way of
being and doing Church. It is self-sustaining and relates to
the NACCC in much the same was as the Gladden Society or
other groups which seek to examine and promote our Way, or
aspects of it. For more information please contact the
president of ICS, Rev. Steven A. Peay, PhD at peays@firstchurchtosa.org
or the secretary of ICS, Rev. Dr. Lloyd M. Hall at minister@plymouthlansing.org.

MISSIONARY SOCIETY BREAKFAST
Monday,
7:30am |
|
The
Missionary Society Breakfast was one of the highlights of
last year’s Annual Meeting. We expect this year to be no
different as the Rev. Dr. Harding Stricker, director of
Asociacion Civil Cristiana Congregational in Argentina, and
Mr. Geoffrey Lipale, director of Pilgrim’s Presence of
Kenya, will be the featured speakers.
The
breakfast is also an opportunity to renew your annual
Missionary Society membership, which makes possible the
Society’s pledge of “dollar for dollar” support to our
mission projects. (Memberships help defray the Society’s
administrative costs, enabling every dollar given to
missions to go to missions.)
Please
join us for an informative breakfast and consider membership
in the Missionary Society. The breakfast is free to all
contributing members (Bronze Annual Membership $100, Silver
$250, Gold $500). The cost of the breakfast without the
annual membership is $13. |
