That Everyone May Worship
The Gospel calls us to be inclusive and to bring those who are
at the margins to the center. This call includes people with
disabilities, who are often excluded from full participation in
the church’s life. This interactive workshop gives practical
steps congregations can take to use the gifts and talents of
persons with disabilities. The impact of the Americans with

Learning to Use the New NACCC Hymnal
A new Congregational Hymnal is on the way, and this workshop
will help churches to use it. The hymnal will contain music from
divergent time periods, cultures and musical styles. Traditional
hymns and gospel songs, as well as praise songs and spirituals
will be included in the new hymnal, plus a children’s section,
and also songs for the church year and special occasions in the
church. Hymns and songs by Congregational composers and from

What Your Church Bylaws Don't Tell You
Is your church incorporated? Have you ever seen your Articles of
Incorporation? Did you know that if your bylaws don't match
certain parts of your Articles of Incorporation, it is the
Articles that are binding? This workshop will explain why you
must have a copy of your Articles, how to get copies, and how to
change certain Articles if they have become obsolete (sometimes
dangerously so). We will also touch on the benefits of being a

The Power of the Cross
As Arthur Rouner was completing 32 years of ministry at Colonial
Church in Edina, MN, the horror of the 1994 genocide was
